We are not an organic hotel, and we do not belong to any hotel sustainability group…
As a family-owned business, we are simply aware of our responsibility toward the environment and nature. That’s why taking action and living by our values are more important to us than labels and certifications!

Climate neutrality

Electricity from solar energy flows through the veins of our house: comprehensive resource conservation ensures efficient and environmentally friendly cycles – after all constant electricity consumers such as cooling cells, pumps, etc. have been supplied – the excess energy is used for hot water preparation.

Specifically, this means:

With our new solar system, we were able to plant 30 trees in an average sunny week or save the _CO2 emissions equivalent to 5000 car kilometers.

Short supply chains not only reduce_CO2 emissions but also guarantee freshness on your plate. Seasonality also plays an important role for us, and so our experienced kitchen team prepares what nature provides—at just the right time, with love and meticulous care.

Mobility

The Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card also makes it possible to enjoy an eco-friendly vacation, as all public transportation can be used free of charge.

Sustainability is a top priority for us. That’s why we’re happy to provide you with charging stations for your electric vehicles. We support e-mobility. With us, you can travel in an eco-friendly and environmentally conscious way while on vacation in Austria. Our solar-powered charging station for your car is ready for use, as are the latest premium e-bikes from the iBIKE-BOX, which—charged with solar power—allow you to enjoy fantastic rides right from the hotel’s doorstep.
