Working at the Hotel Annelies
Elite Athletes on Team Annelies
It’s well known that the path to becoming a top athlete can be a rocky one. There are high costs for travel and rigorous training, and on top of that, there may be a lack of prospects if an athlete doesn’t make it to the world’s elite.
Even after finishing school or a successful career, athletes often lack adequate opportunities to take their first steps toward a career afterward.
Here at Hotel Annelies, we decided many years ago to give young winter athletes the opportunity to work with us and to structure their employment arrangements—whether as apprentices or in a career—in a way that is compatible with elite sports.
Top athletes, in particular, need a flexible career path, and the flexible work schedules in the tourism industry make it possible for them to take their first steps in their professional lives. To build career prospects for life after sports, an increasing number of athletes in Austria are pursuing a career alongside their active athletic careers. This opportunity creates a win-win situation for our company and for the athletes. We benefit from working with disciplined individuals and gaining a broader perspective, while athletes get to interact with people outside their everyday athletic lives and, of course, enjoy the Annelies benefits.
If you enjoy working with people, are athletic, a team player, and open-minded, then come join us!
