Since 2000, Anja and Roland have been carrying on the Annelies tradition as the second generation of owners. <\/p>\n<div class=\"art_element art_text cols_twelve spl spr \">\n<div class=\"art_inner\">\n<p><strong>Anja:<\/strong> &#8220;As a small, charming family-run business, we strive to offer our guests a &#8216;home away from home&#8217;\u2014nestled in a unique landscape, surrounded by magnificent mountains and crystal-clear mountain lakes. In a world that\u2019s spinning ever faster, we want to be a place of stability and tranquility. Our strength comes from this natural environment and our family\u2014our support and inspiration\u2014just as it always has.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>And the third generation is already watching everything closely: <strong>Anna-Maria<\/strong> (born in 2005) and <strong>Louisa<\/strong> (born in 2009).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Even though we are constantly expanding, renovating, and redesigning our home to keep up with the times, we don&#8217;t want to redefine ourselves. That same year, they also obtained their first license to provide lodging for guests, serve beverages, and offer hot and cold meals. <\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"art_inner\">That same year, construction began on a garage and, later, on a separate apartment with the \u201cfirst\u201d double room for guests. Water is fetched in jugs from the neighbor\u2019s well; there is still no running water in Kulm. After the municipal water line is installed, the expansion continues slowly and with great effort. New rooms are built, and beds are gradually added as well.   <\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"art_element art_text cols_twelve spl spr \">\n<div class=\"art_inner\">In 1964, the ridge across the way was purchased and leveled, and construction began on the garage for the transportation company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The hotel was built in 1971 and 1972\u2014 <\/strong>though it was expanded one floor at a time. Over the years, the number of beds grew from 2 to approximately 90.
